I only use it to recall a "split screen" windows which is not related to a specific app, I can recall windows which are of another application just by running the command under title: "cmd". A cool feature indeed. I prefer to save a copy of the app on my flash drive in case my computer freezes and the main storage is not accessible.

Wow! I like Sheepdog! It's a good alternative to QuickView, but with a couple of improvements:
1. It can help me recover windows that don't show up in the switcher.
2. It can save my own window configurations (I use a theme of my own), so I don't have to lose the configuration if I reinstall the application.
This has happened to me several times!

Thanks for taking a look at Sheepdog!

It's very cool that you like it, but let's get it straight that Sheepdog retrieves off-screen windows as well as the on-screen ones. It's not exclusive to the "split screen" application, and it can retrieve any windows you want. It's much more than QuickView, with many more features.

If you don't have the compiler or library:

The reason you may be missing the components is that you installed the Windows SDK.
To re-install the components:

Go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features
Right-click the icon for the Windows SDK component and select Uninstall
Follow the on-screen instructions for re-installing the components.

To change the Visual C++ 2010 SP1 compiler you must use the macro described below.

Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Compiler MACRO:

Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 was released on November 12, 2011. If you use the Visual C++ 2010 SP1 compiler to compile applications that you distribute, then you must use the compiler for Windows XP with Service Pack 2.
To make this change:

Open the Visual Studio 2010 SP1 compiler macro file (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\vcvarsall.bat) in an editor.
At the end of the file, find the macro that starts with "VCVARSALL". In the macro, look for the line that starts with "VCINSTALLDIR=" and end with ".NET".
Remove the "NET" from the end of the line.
Replace the line with the code below:

INSTALLATION
Add the "INI File" from the "Facilis FTP INI File" folder to a USB disk and run the executable.
If you want the INI file to be stored on a diskette instead, you should copy the "INI File" to the root of a diskette, and remove the.exe file. Make sure you do not overwrite the original INI file.
The application will read the INI file and store it in the folder "Facilis FTP" in your main directory. In that folder, you can find a folder called "INI File" which contains the INI file which has been saved on the diskette. The INI file is very small and contains a few lines which stores the user information and password.
It's also possible to load your own INI file by using the "Load INI File" button. Just open the file in the editor of your choice and use it for your own storage.
